Solid service, few minor kinks

Used Proof for some legal document signing. The platform itself is robust, and connecting with a notary was simple enough. Identity verification took a bit longer than I expected, maybe 10 minutes total. The notary was professional. Overall, a good experience, though they could maybe streamline the ID check a touch more.

Good for the price

I needed a deed notarized and checked a few places. Proof had a decent rate, especially with a referral credit I found. It ended up being cheaper than driving to a physical notary. The service worked fine, saved me some money which was the main goal.

Always reliable notarization

I've used Proof for several notarizations over the past year, most recently for a Power of Attorney. The process was as smooth as ever. Identity verification was quick, and connecting with a notary took maybe five minutes. Consistent service keeps me coming back.

Detailed review of Proof notarization

I used Proof for an international notarization service recently. The ordering process was clear, walking me through document upload and identity verification steps. The identity verification itself, with biometric analysis, felt very secure and only took a few minutes. I then connected with a notary who was knowledgeable about international requirements. The e-signature process was intuitive. The final notarized document was available immediately. My only small comment is that finding the specific service for international documents wasn't immediately obvious on the homepage, but once I found it, everything else was excellent. This saved me a lot of hassle compared to traditional methods.

Got my documents sorted

So I had to get some trust documents signed, and my lawyer told me to check out Proof. Honestly, it was pretty easy. I logged on, uploaded my stuff, and boom, talked to a notary. She was cool, walked me through it. Got it all done from my couch, which was awesome.

are there any promo codes for new users or anything? first time using something like this.

B Brandon King 3 weeks ago
Sometimes. Keep an eye out for referral links from people who've used it before, those usually give you a few bucks off your first one. There's not always a general 'first-time user' code floating around though.

Not a universal one usually. Your best bet is finding a referral code. I got $10 off my first one that way. You put it in right at the end when you're checking out.

how does Proof compare to like, Docusign or NotaryCam? any big differences i should know about?

R Ryan White 3 weeks ago
Proof and NotaryCam are pretty similar for notarization. Docusign is more for just e-signatures, less about the actual notarization with a live person.

Yeah, Docusign is different, more for just signing. NotaryCam is a direct competitor for online notarization. Proof tends to have more advanced identity verification steps in my experience, which is good for security but might take an extra minute or two.

hey thinking of using proof for notarizing some docs, but like, how much does it actually cost for one document?

J Jeff H. 2 days ago
From what I remember, it's pretty standard pricing, not super expensive. I think it was around $25 for a single notarization when I used it a few months ago.

yeah, usually in that ballpark. they don't really hide the cost, it shows up clearly before you finalize anything. some companies have referral codes too, so keep an eye out.

Is Proof legit or am I gonna get scammed? heard some bad stuff about online notarization in general.

E Elizabeth 2 weeks ago
Proof is legit, I've used them multiple times for real estate documents and never had an issue. They're well-known.

Totally legit. They're one of the bigger players in the online notarization space. Plus, they handle big business accounts, so they gotta be. No scam worries with them in my experience.

Can I use proof for international documents? like, if my document is for a different country, will it still work?

M Michelle Phillips 2 weeks ago
i think so, yeah. I've seen people talk about using it for stuff outside the US. they do mention international notarization on their site.

O Olivia F. 2 weeks ago
Yeah, they do. I used them for a power of attorney for a property overseas. Just make sure you understand the specific requirements for your destination country, as Proof can handle the notarization part but can't guarantee how other countries will interpret it.
